How It Works:

1. Select Your Sojourn Ventures Package

Explore our packages to select the best fit for your event. Many organizations choose to offer packages from both Italy and Bali, which is proven to boost revenue. Our team of experts is available to help you make the best selection for your donor base.

Additional Package Information:

  • All Sojourn Ventures trips provide a generous 2-year expiration from the purchase date.

  • Bookings are subject to availability.

  • If the accommodation your donor has purchased does not have availability during the period they desire, we offer alternative accommodations that are nearby and equal in value to the original package purchased by the donor.

  • Donors have the option of upgrading to a larger home for an additional fee, should they decide to travel with a larger group. This can be arranged with Sojourn Ventures post-event at the time of their booking.

2. Offer Our Consignment Packages at Your Event

Risk-free: All of our packages are offered on a consignment basis, meaning every dollar raised above the non-profit cost goes directly to your organization.

Unlimited Sales Potential: You may sell each trip multiple times at one event

High Revenue Generators: Our packages typically sell for 2-4 times more than the non-profit cost. We strongly recommend you start the bidding at a minimum of $500.00 above the non-profit cost.

If our non-profit cost is not met at your event, you are under no financial obligation to Sojourn Ventures.

3. Finalize Winning Bidder Details

Please email us within 48 hours of the event providing the contact information for the winning bidders, including the following:

  • Your Organization Name

  • Names of winning bidder(s)

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Name of properties or packages won

4. Let Us Handle the Rest

Upon receipt of payment post-event, Sojourn Ventures will issue a detailed electronic welcome to your donors with all the necessary information to start planning their adventure. Our specialists work with each donor individually to curate the details of their trip and provide them with concierge services. This includes organizing ground transportation, tours, dining, activities, and other cultural experiences to personalize their trip.

From the moment your donors purchase their trip, Sojourn Ventures takes care of their travel needs. We understand how crucial your donors are to fundraising endeavors, and we, in turn, aim to offer them an unparalleled vacation. Many of our guests have never been to Italy or Bali and these trips are often life-long dreams. We want guests to be able to engage with the local community as much as possible for an authentic and meaningful experience.

Our white-glove concierge service includes support in all aspects of planning our guests’ trips (excluding plane reservations). Following a fundraising event, donors who have purchased a package with us will receive an electronic welcome packet with information to help them start planning their adventure. We work with each guest to plan the details of their trip, including transportation to and from different locations via train, rental car, or taxi. Once our guests arrive at their destination, they receive ground support from our local representatives, who can arrange transportation, tours, cooking classes, winery visits, and cultural excursions!

It is our priority that your donors feel at home in their accommodations. We work hand-in-hand with owners of the individual homes we represent to curate both the properties and the guest experience, ensuring that the homes meet the highest standards for amenities, cleanliness, and comfort.

They thought of EVERYTHING we might need during our stay. The kitchen was so fun, and where we hung out a lot of the time. We even had a cooking class which will be something I’ll treasure forever! The hosts made sure we had everything we needed, and were so nice and sweet! The decor….wow!!! It was a great mix of old Italy with all of the amenities you would need today! We all slept like babies In our comfy beds and rooms. The town of Cortona was so relaxing, and easy to take day trips to Tuscany for wine tasting or Siena which was lovely also!   • “You asked about our stay at Casa San Marco, I don’t have the vocabulary to really express how awesome and lovely it was. They decor was spot on for what my wife would like to our house here. The view from the balcony is second to none, and I spent almost all of my time there. A glass of wine, a book (though the view kept distracting me) and I was happy and content. So we had three kids there and as kids are they tend to play loud, my 10 year old daughter felt bad for the lady that lived under us, so she wrote here a letter. We used google translate to write her a letter to apologize for any loud thumps that might occur and asked her some questions about her and her life here. Not sure how accurate google translate did, but I think the spirit of the letter came across. The lady was so sweet, she made her a fig tart that was so delicious that I had to fend off the kids so my wife could get a piece :) She was the sweetest person in the world and truly represents Cortona.”

Close to Assisi, Florence and many other of Tuscany's wine towns and attractions, it is perfectly located and perfectly equipped for a vacation stay.

    The home is so lovingly cared for and beautifully decorated, the kitchen has everything you need to cook magnificent italian meals with local fresh pasta, produce, artisanal meats and wine.

    Sojourn Ventures takes great care of their clients from the moment of reservation to the end of the stay and can connect guests to cooking classes, tours and special experiences throughout the region. We have stayed twice and loved it. We will be back.”

  • “My fiancée and I went to Cortona Italy in the middle of June, 2024. This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in all of my travels. From the initial set up for this trip with an amazing person, Federica, who helped set up wine tours and excursions as well as make dinner suggestions to us to the actual stay in Cortona, everything was so smooth thanks to Sojourn Ventures and their local staff.

    Every excursion and wine tour were planned to perfection. The wineries were amazing and the wines themselves also delicious. The restaurants in Cortona from breakfast places to amazing dinner venues were not only some of the best food either of us has had in years but the staff at every single restaurant was attentive and pleasant and took pride in their jobs.

    Casa Sabrina, that was part of the package for this trip was also perfect. There was a full kitchen including dishwasher; a washing machine; plenty of storage space and closet space as well as a very comfortable bed. The apartment was also spotlessly clean upon arrival.

    In closing, both Angel and I would definitely return to Cortona and would absolutely use Sojourn Ventured to arrange the stay once again. Thank you all again for a trip we will never ever forget!!!!”

  • “This house is one of they most beautiful authentic homes I have stayed in in Italy. The hill town of Cortona is full of shops, great museums, art galleries, great restaurants, wine shops, beautiful churches, and a Medici fort. The bds are comfortable with crisp white sheets.Each morning the bells of the famous church San Francisco chimed sending the nesting birds a flight. From the bedroom balcony you can overlook the lush valley of rolling hills and the mountains and dormant volcano in the distant. Wee we cooked many meals in the well equipped kitchen and raised a glass to our fortunate luck at finding such a wonderful place to stay. Every shop is walkable. No parking but no need for one. Enzo was always available to take us on far reaching adventures or just to the train station for day trips to Florence or Abrezzo. I still dream of this perfect spot. One warning, you must be able to climb one flight of stairs and walk up beautiful cobbled roads and paths.”
